SCMPOO.EXE : the program
SHEEP.DOC : this file
To Install:
1) Just run the program from whereever you want.
What it does:
This little program will put a sheep on your screen. A cute sheep.
With cute actions. Real cute. With sound even.
The sheep will display up to 30 different behaviours and generally
cavort around the screen along the tops of windows, dropping to other
windows as it feels like it. If the sheep runs off the sides of the
screen then it will drop back onto the screen from above.
Controls:
You can click and drag a sheep to anywhere you want.
If you just click on a sheep with either button, it will drop to the
next window.
If you double-click with the right mouse button, the sheep will go away
(the program stops running). This is not recommended as the program
doesn't appear to clean up after itself properly when exited this way.
If you double-click with the left mouse button, an options dialog
appears. There are four options you can check but I don't know what
they all do:
1: Sound
2: Toggles sound on and off
3: Never Sleep
4: Gravity
The four buttons on the right side are, top to bottom:
1: exits the dialog with any changes you have made
2: cancels the dialog and throws away any changes you have made
3: calls for help (please note that there is no help file and the
system will complain about that. The help file would be in japanese
anyways, not normally readable on U.S. machines).
4: Stops the sheep from running as a program and removes it from
the screen and memory.
If you hold down the alt, shift, and control keys while double-clicking
with the left button, you will get a debug window containing radio
buttons for all 30 behaviours. Click on a radio button to see the
behaviour. The four buttons in the upper right will adjust the
position of the sheep in increments.
If you drag an icon on top of a sheep, it will stop and munch for
awhile but doesn't affect the contents of the icon.
You can have multiple sheep running and they will interact with each
other to a limited extent. There is a limit of 10 sheep at a time.
